{Story Line}
The lab is an animal testing facility most known for its experiments on rats, some for the benefit of humanity, others... A darker purpose.
During one test a young rat named Blank gained an ability like no other; telepathy. At first his powers were weak. He could move his food bowl an inch and make someone stumble if he focused harder, but as he practiced his ability and the scientist continued their tests unaware his power grew... Until it became something sinister.
In an attempt to stop his brother's violent ways, Shale, another rat of the lab, tried to reason with him, then threatened to stop him. Blank attacked Shale leaving him for the dead... But Blank’s perfect aim proved to be his biggest mistake as a blast of telekinetic waves was shot into Shale’s brain, evening the playing field.
Their quarrel soon alerted the remaining scientists of Blank’s power, so they had him locked away in a more secure area to run further tests. However, before he was restrained, Blank had appealed to the other rats in the lab, asking them to join his crusade; a revolution to make the humans pay for what they have done. He even granted some of his trusty followers similar telepathic abilities using the same technique he had used on Shale.
Now ‘Rats of Revolution,’ Blank's followers fight to free their leader and oppose Shale, while Shale and his followers try and stop them from causing more harm. Shale is trying to develop his powers to Blank’s level so he can reason with the humans and perhaps warn them. All of this rivalry however is kept hidden from the humans who run the building, after all if other rats were proven to have Blank's power they would surely be locked up too, right?
So the stage is set, who’s side will you take?
How far will you go for your cause?
What will you do to prove you are right...?
So now that you know the story, you can start role-playing away. There are other animals in the lab, but you must have at least one rat character you use. After all, this is a rat role-play. For further rules check the ‘Forum Rules’ under this board.
