Seven and Basil

Seven
Color: White with a light shade of black
Gender: male
Seven is with Blank on all aspects for reasons soon to be
revealed. His fur is a little darker then the white you see in snow, yet it is not light grey.

Personality and history:
The white rat used to be so sweet, always caring for others and trying to make them feel special. Used to be. Yet that all changed the day he was given to a boy in the class for the weekend.
Seven had a lovely, long, thin tail that he actually really liked. The boy however, hated rats with all his mind and soul. So when Seven was his to take care of for two days, he cut the rat's tail off. The white right was in so much pain and started to bleed into his cage; the boy dropped the rat into the toliet and flushed him.
After hours of fighting the sewer current, Seven gave in and let the water guide his small, exhausted body. Soon Seven reached concrete ground in the sewers and brought his poorly rested body up. He climbed up a ladder to find a metal "cage" with cheese at the end of it.
Seeing no danger Seven stumbled into the cage and engaged the trap. That was how he was captured and he stayed in the lab, unbothered for two weeks. But soon the experiments began, the scientists would feed him intelligence increasers to sell to humans.
They worked, and Seven become a mad genius. His right eye was soon replaced with a robotic one. Somehow, the scientists used technology to where he can see the weak spots on each rat.
The scientists also used his heart to test out and see if they could make it last long, hooking up a small machine and inserting wires that now stick out of his chest.


Basil
Color: Muddy dark brown
Gender: male
Basil will always side with Shale, for he hates violence and refuses to harm anyone. He was also born without a right front leg and has a tuft of fur on his tail.
Personality and history:
Basil was born into a loving home that moved around often. One day the rat snuck out of his cage just before his family left. The brown rat explored his neighborhood when he found a few traps.
Eager to investigate Basil went into the cage, sniffing and stepping cautiously around. The door snapped shut and he was taken away to the lab. He has been used in small trap tests and puzzles, when he failed he was given an intelligence enhancer.
Yet unlike Seven, Basil didn't get as much or go completely insane. He decided to use his newly gained knowledge for good and to help.
So as you can tell, Basil is sweet and very playful. Yet the sweet little rat is easily offended and very sensitive. He will be a loyal friend but is a pure pacifist.
