Okay, just want to see if anyone's seen this movie. It's awesome, and I have the sequel on dvd!

omg. I love that movie, the second one wasn't as good, in my opinion, it seemed far more "cheery" the first one was better.
as for what it's about, basically the rats of NIHM escaped thanks to a mouse named Johnathon Brisbee and they now live in a rosebush on (I forget the farmer's name) farm. and they're stealing electricity from the farm house. Anyway, that's more of background to the main story line. the main plot follows Mrs. Johnathon Brisbee and her endeavors to help her son Timothy who is sick with pneumonia and she has been told that he can't go outside for 3 weeks, or something like that, but the problem is that it's soon plowing season on all the wildlife living on the farm has to "move" to avoid being hit by the plow, but since Timmy is sick, she can't move her family. she then is told to speak to the Great Owl who tells her to talk to the rats of NIHM, which she knows about them because of her husband and yeah. so she goes to them to ask them about moving her house.
and that's as much as I'll tell you, otherwise it would be spoilers, I don't think I've really given anything major away...that's all pretty straight forward/vague stuff, but it's interesting and there's some other inner conflicts and other characters, etc. so yeah lol but that is the jist of what the movie is xD

The beggining is my favorite, the little part at the beggining of both where they have a scene that shows the rats learning how to read, and they escape.

I love the movie, but I personally believe the books are much better. I encourage you to read those too ^^

The movie rings a bell, I can't remember it in great detail. But the book "Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH" was great.
