My char's DNA thingy:
About five years ago, scientists decided to try out the 'DNA merging' idea. They took two animals (both around the ages of 3/4 months)- a wolf and a cat, both runts- and injected the DNA of two different rats into them. They were disappointed when it had no effect other than changing their personalities. I.e., the habit of hiding in dark, small spaces, the extreme fear of humans, and the need to steal things from the white coats (Note: I have ferrets, and they do this ALL the time eue (the one even steals shoes)). Only four years later, they were shocked to find that the feline- named Catherine- was pregnant, with the wolfs- Jay's- children. They were even more surprised to see that the DNA had worked in them. Out of the five born, only two lived. They had gained the markings and body structures of a rat, but the girl looked like their mother (a feline) and the boy, their father (a wolf). They named them Leopard, a variegated Rex feline with green eyes, and Adrian, a silver dwarf wolf with a black hood and icy blue eyes. Both were only about 4 centimeters bigger than a very small peanut shell, and were about 1 inch around. They whitecoats did various tests to find out why this had happened, and soon it became clear. The rat DNA had mixed with the parents DNA, and had then been sent into the children- except, this time, at a larger dose, and they were still in their mothers womb when it had taken effect. __________________________________________________________
Does this sound ok? If not, I'll just make a cat char and a rat char >.< ^^; Oh ,and. Their powers.

A month later, the scientists came up with a new idea. They took multiple beakers and filled them with two different elements. They took ice and boiling hot water, and injected it into the bloodstream of the still newborn hybrids. The chemicals in both caused many pain-filled days for the two, and they writhed and shrieked. Finally, it stopped, and they took them to the testing room. They put two bowls in front of the 2 month old cubs, and instantly the one in front of Leopard boiled and steamed, and the other, in front of Adrian, froze over. The project had worked- they had managed to give two animals the power of an element. It was still weak, but after some more practice trials, they might be able to succeed in giving powers to humans. That was their goal all along.

I think I went a bit overboard with this...^^;

I’m new to this, so, sorry if I don’t quite understand. Hopefully I pick it up after a while. Is it okay for a rat to be a powder blue hooded rat with a torn ear?
